The British Virgin Islands (BVI) offer superb sailing conditions. Here, you are never out of sight of land. You can visit 2-3 islands in a day! Our protected waters offer steady tradewinds, abundant sunshine, warm, inviting, gin-clear water, and smooth seas that rarely build to more than a chop.

The magnificent British Virgin Islands have earned the title “Cruising Capital of the World”. Tortola is the largest island and the center of commerce and the BVI government. Your crewed yacht charter will take you to many inhabited and uninhabited islands, including Jost Van Dyke, Norman Island, Peter Island, Salt Island, Cooper Island, Virgin Gorda, Marina Cay, Anegada, The Dogs, Beef Island, and Sandy Cay.

The BVI offer something for everyone. Spend the day on a secluded beach, or join fellow cruisers in search of the perfect “Painkiller” at one of the islands’ many beach bars. Swim, snorkel, take a spin on the waterskis or kneeboard or wakeboard, dive, sightsee, shop,…or simply relax on deck with a good book while your crew brings you a cool drink. The choice is yours!

The visibility for diving and snorkeling is excellent. Our most famous divesite is the well-preserved Wreck of the Royal Mail Steamer Rhone which was sunk in a hurricane. She broke in two and lies in 25-85 feet of water. Another spectacular dive is the wreck of the Chikuzen. Other intriguing snorkeling and divesites include the Painted Walls, The Indians, Alice in Wonderland, Monkey Point, The Chimneys and Blonde Rock.
